Are you fed up looking for work? Maybe you have thought about starting up your own business? If so, the Exploring Enterprise Programme might be exactly what you need to get up and running! What is Exploring Enterprise? This is a free programme delivered over 6 mornings that helps you take the first steps in exploring your business idea and/or improving your self/employment prospects. You can achieve an accredited qualification in Understanding Business Enterprise from the programme! This will improve your CV and help to break down barriers to self-employment or employment. Learning takes place in an open, non-threatening environment, suited to adults returning to education.
The Exploring Enterprise Programme is a free course for those who are: • Unemployed or working / in education / training amounting to less than 16 hours a week. • Aged 16 or over • Able to commit to the full training scheme What will I learn during the programme? • Understanding personal qualities & abilities for business • Understanding enterprise & enterprising skills • Products & customers • Resources & teams • Understanding opportunities & risks You will also receive one-to-one mentoring supplied by our dedicated start-up business team. Mentoring can include bookkeeping, financial planning, marketing, digital marketing, market research and others.
