Call For Facilitators For The Bushmills Courthouse Creative Programme

Enterprise Causeway wishes to receive Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic, freelance creative facilitators to join our workshop facilitator panel to deliver engaging arts and creative workshops.

  • We are looking for applications from a variety of disciplines including Ceramics, Jewellery, Textile art, Photography, Visual arts, Mixed media, Digital Media etc. (see application form).
  • The hourly rate available is up to £25 per hour, plus material costs. This rate may be subject to increase over the lifetime of the programme.
  • Facilitators will deliver workshops with community groups, church groups, schools, youth groups, seniors and general public in Bushmills and throughout the wider Causeway Coast and Glens region.
  • Each workshop will target between 10-15 participants.
  • The Panel will exist for a period of 3 years once established. The Panel is open to new applicants throughout the 3-year period.

About The Bushmills Courthouse Programme

Enterprise Causeway has secured €5.1m funding through the EU Peace IV Shared Space programme to develop a Shared Space Creative Hub at the Old Courthouse Bushmills. Along-side the refurbishment of The Courthouse building we will deliver a programme of Peace Building activities using art, crafts, culture, heritage, digital technologies, food, tourism and creativity to engage our communities, to open the community to new ideas and provide the skills and creativity we need to drive change.

Requirements

  • Experience in chosen artform essential.
  • Experience of facilitating workshops working in community/youth/education setting.
  • Enthusiastic and engaging manner.
  • All workshop facilitators will have to supply evidence of ACCESS NI approval and Public Liability insurance, if appointed to the panel. Both will need to be maintained for duration of the programme.
