Enterprise Fund opens to support Young Growing Businesses
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is calling for applications to its Enterprise Fund for the 2022 funding period. This fund is aimed at supporting young businesses to address barriers to growth using innovative approaches.
With over £250K already allocated, since its inception in 2017, the annual Enterprise Fund is aimed at young businesses less than two years old. All types of businesses are eligible, including but not limited to, manufacturing, services, hospitality, tourism, retail and construction.
These funds have helped previous recipients to innovate, upscale and expand outside local markets, during a particularly challenging time, bringing a much needed boost to the local economy.
The diverse products and services offered by last year’s successful businesses include luxury home fragrances, boat cruises, wheelie bin cleaning, physiotherapy, beauty, electric vehicle charging point installers and professional virtual assistant services, to name just a few
